it's official!

I finally received my student teaching placement for next semester- first grade it is!! I love those little firsties. I've already gotten to spend some time in the class, and I've learned so much already! Here's what I know:

• First grade journals make for greeeat entertainment. "Chrigerchretin" = Trick or treating.
• Shaving cream spelling words is perfect for nicely "tricking" students into cleaning their desks!
• There is so much to learn and SO little time.

I'm sure this list will grow and grow, just as I do in my teaching ability!

I plan on updating as often as I desire, but mostly for my own record of successes, pitfalls, and just great memories I make in first grade. Read at your own will. :)
